Dont Buy This Product  |

I would not buy this product for those considering it. It is basically useless - in fact it is useless ... the kernel is old and difficult to upgrade, glibc is outdated and i found near impossible to upgrade, it does not find my modem and my sound card does not work. Bear in mind all my things new and not old stuff used with WIN3.11.
The fact is that Caldera Open Linux 2.3 is old, there are newer versions of linux around which are not as easy to load but find what your PC has (concerning PCI cards).
The office software is nothing to rage about either. Get Windows and Office. At least youll be able to use the damn thing and your PC will work fine!
Caldera Open Linux 3.0 is now out ... pouring more scorn onto 2.3 since the kernel and clibs will be upgraded. This is a waste of money.
I dont want to ratre this product since 1/5 is to good for it but I had to.

Whatta Mouse!  |
This is an excellent mouse, with a useful double-click button the side. The only thing I hate about it is that it does work in the preview window of Outlook.The USB hub is brilliant - 7 ports and powered too. Little lights all over the top make it look like a Xmas tree! Worth the bargain price I got the pair for.

This mouse has to be the smoothest mouse Ive used to date. It fits my hand perfectly and the thumb button is in exactly the right place. Its also very fast and accurate and makes 1st person shootem ups a doddle - Ive been playing Medal of Honour - Allied Assault and its been a breeze.
The hub is a good solid design and feels well built. It saves scrabbling around the back of my PC. It doesnt take up much space and has LEDs on top to show where the ports are which is a nice feature. Its also a powered hub so you wont get any problems when its fully loaded.
All in all this is a really good price as your almost getting a free hub.
